Donut Lab released tests over five weeks, each highlighting a key battery attribute. Test One involved VTT fast-charging a cell beyond normal limits, after which it retained nearly 100% usable charge. In Test Two, VTT fully charged the cell, then discharged it in high heat. Afterward, it was recharged at normal temperature, but researchers observed the pouch lost vacuum. Donut Lab later attributed the vacuum loss to packaging materials failing under temperature, not the battery itself.
