If the user realized they were being sent to a long domain like this, they would probably be alarmed but in these campaigns the domain is hidden. When the user clicks on the image, the device will resolve the .arpa domain. Because .arpa is a critical TLD for the operation of the internet, these domain names are unlikely to be blocked. From the initial link, the user is typically fingerprinted and redirected to fraudulent content. Figure 1 shows an example of the spam HTML.
