The Testaments can get as tough to watch as its predecessor, but it also finds a renewed energy thanks to its different points of view and a talented young cast. While relatively minor, these considerations remain significant. Griffin's batting philosophy centers on aggressive contact and specifically driving the ball with force. The elevation in his swing and his capacity to pull/elevate to translate power into game situations is adequate rather than exceptional, as he depends more on raw strength/bat speed than directional control/trajectory to produce extra-base hits. This critique similarly applied to Vlad Jr. and Junior Caminero at comparable stages; it's a finer point, but worth noting.
